Production and Research

Best management practices are the keys to a successful farming operation, and soybean farmers are at the forefront of making sure their farms are the most productive they can be with less cost to the environment and their own farm operation.

ISA supports on-farm research and tools that help soybean farmers maximize their farms' performance, including research into new traits; methods and tools that enhance yield and composition and new ways to control soybean pests and manage diseases, all while producing soybeans in a sustainable, environmentally acceptable manner.

ISA is also a partner organization with INfield Advantage (formerly On-Farm Network) – a program that focuses on technology to collect user-specific information from farm test plots around the state.
